The mission of New Light is to empower the Church to meet the needs of the broken in their communities. Our specific focus is on ministering to children and families. New Light works with Churches or faith-based organizations that desire to have an impact and are actively looking for ways to do this.
As a non-profit ministry, we depend upon friends and partners for funding. We provide our services to the Church at no cost because we believe Churches should focus their resources on reaching the lost and broken in their communities for Christ.
The Church of Jesus Christ is the most powerful, far reaching, and influential organization on the planet. God has directed the Church to preach the Gospel while meeting the needs of the widows, being a parent to the parentless, taking care of the elderly, visiting those in prison, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, etc. We believe the Church’s ministries are God’s hand reaching out to “the least of theseâ€.
